This map shows all the County, Regional and Unitary Authority boundaries within the United Kingdom. The map reflects the administrative changes that came into effect in April 2009, the latest update. Each area is shown in a different colour to its neighbours, making it easy to decipher where the boundaries lie. The map base shows motorways and primary roads (with more detailed roads on the London inset) and features seven types of town/city stamps based on population ranging from 2,000 to 1,000,000+ inhabitants.

Inset is a smaller map showing all of the Postcode Area boundaries within the UK, with a list of these Areas giving their main postal towns. The inset map of London outlines the Borough boundary information. Also inset is a map of the whole of Ireland (Northern Ireland is also shown in full scale on the main map) with all County boundaries for the Republic. Population figures for all the regions shown on the map are given based on information supplied by the Local Government Commission and up-to-date as of 2014.
This is one of our best-sellers and an excellent and clear planning map. But if you are needing to see lots of towns and even large villages with road numbering etc this may not be the most suitable purchase. In addition to these standard finishes, the publisher has also produced a wallpaper version of this map. You don't use standard wallpaper paste or any water, the map has a backing paper which is removed to reveal a self-adhesive surface, and when placing the map on the wall it can be repositioned without damaging the map or the wall. This wallpaper map is made with a tough patented fabric which will stick to any non-porous flat surface and will also remove easily without leaving any residue. Paint will not be removed from a primed wall and the map can be applied over existing wallpaper. It is made of a very robust material which means the map will be applied to the wall without wrinkles and will not rip.
